We would like to invite you to the first CSA Virtual event, which will take place on Sunday 10th of December from 18:00z. It will be a flight from Prague to Bratislava as was the first flight of the real Czech Airlines. Only the existing CSA fleet will be available for this flight. We will try to coordinate ATC at IVAO and VATSIM network.
Czech Airlines was established on October 6, 1923, with Prague Kbely as the main base, where the first flight from Prague to Bratislava (which was 320 km long) took place. The flight was carried out by a modified military aircraft Aero-14, the primary pilot was Karel Brabenec, who then became first Czech Airlines Chiefpilot and the first passenger was the editor of the popular newspaper, Václav König. In 1924 the line was extended to Košice. At that time he spent about 6 hours in Košice. A year later, Aero-14 and Aero-10 began replacing the more modern De Havilland DH.50 and the Farman F-60 Goliath.
